Event Description
Peter Works, winemaker and owner of ampelos cellars, whose vineyards are located in the Santa Rita Hills appellation, will visit the Wine Lab and pour a selection of his estate vineyards wines. This is a great opportunity to meet the passion behind the wines. amplelos was one of the first vineyards to participate in the Certified Sustainable Winegrowing pilot program and is very proud to have met the robust guidelines of the program and is now SIP (sustainability in practice) Certified.
Peter will be pouring five wines and they include: 08 Vigonier, 08 Rose of Syrah,
06 Pinot Noir “lambda” Santa Rita Hills (WS 92), 05 Syrache (Syrah/Grenache blend), and 05 Syrah “gamma” Santa Rita Hills (WS 92).
