Not that anyone should care, but, I have a tremendous craving for clam chowder...right now! It's only 9 am as I write this which may seem a bit early in the day to be craving such a meal, but I often eat breakfast for dinner, so I'll just go with it.

When I say clam chowder, I mean the good stuff. The kind that usually comes accompanied by the sound and smell of fishing boats, and within sight of a pier.

our last press load of grapes three days ago. This ripening season was
very late, probably due to a wet spring and early summer. The upside is
the excellent grape quality aided by the late, cool harvest conditions.

I will be the first to admit that I do in fact judge a book by it's cover. Of course there are other criteria my brain uses to choose my next read, such as the genre, author, reviews, and, well... shelf placement (I am not a huge fan of kneeling), but in the end, the determining factor usually boils down to the cover, and my emotional response to it which either compels me put it down or put it under my arm for a trip to the register.
